ILLIT has reached another major milestone in Japan as their debut song *Magnetic* surpassed 300 million streams and received Triple Platinum certification.
According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan, *Magnetic* exceeded 300 million cumulative streams as of August, earning the song Triple Platinum certification in the streaming category.
The track was released in March 2024 as the title song of ILLIT’s first mini album, *SUPER REAL ME*.
According to BELIFT LAB, ILLIT also became the fastest overseas female artist to reach 300 million streams in Japan.
*Magnetic* had already shown strong performance shortly after its release. The song previously surpassed 100 million streams in about three months, earning Platinum certification and reportedly setting the fastest record at the time for a song by a female group, including Japanese acts.
The latest 300 million-stream milestone further highlights the song’s long-term performance in the Japanese market.
ILLIT is now preparing for their next comeback with their fifth mini album, *BREAK EVEN*, scheduled for release on October 26.
