BTS’s Jimin is receiving a major show of support in Colombia as fans prepare large-scale projects for the group’s Bogotá concerts and his upcoming birthday.
BTS will begin the Latin American leg of their *ARIRANG* world tour at El Campín Stadium in Bogotá on October 2 and 3. Ahead of the concerts, Jimin’s fans have organized several events around the city to celebrate his October 13 birthday.
Starting October 1, a birthday advertisement featuring Jimin is scheduled to appear on an LED screen at the Neos Centro building in Bogotá.
During the concert dates, an advertising truck dedicated to Jimin will also travel around El Campín Stadium. Fans have prepared an additional event featuring a three-meter-tall balloon figure inspired by the BTS member.
One of the largest projects will take place among concertgoers, with organizers planning to distribute approximately 12,000 yellow scarves and Jimin character cards as part of the birthday celebration.
The projects are part of “Jimtober,” a fan-created term combining Jimin’s name with October. Fans around the world have used the month to celebrate his birthday through advertisements, special events, donations, and charitable activities.
With BTS opening its Latin American tour in Bogotá just days before Jimin’s birthday, Colombian fans are turning the concerts into one of this year’s biggest Jimtober celebrations.
