Lee Gwan Hee has clarified his recent comment about splitting dating expenses equally with his girlfriend Yoo Si Eun, explaining that it was simply part of a playful game.

The couple recently appeared together in a video on Yoo Si Eun’s YouTube channel, where they shared moments from one of their dates.

During the video, the two played a balance game and were asked to choose between “splitting dating expenses 50-50 forever” or “having whoever loses rock-paper-scissors pay for every date forever.”

Yoo Si Eun chose the rock-paper-scissors option, while Lee Gwan Hee selected splitting the costs equally.

He jokingly told her, “I want to do 50-50 forever. Should we start 50-50 from now?” He then added, “You ate more today, so you should pay 60.”

The playful exchange drew mixed reactions after clips from the video circulated online, with some viewers criticizing Lee Gwan Hee’s comments and tone.

Lee Gwan Hee later responded directly to a social media post featuring the scene and clarified that the conversation should not be taken seriously.

He wrote, “It was a balance game. Please watch it for fun.”

Yoo Si Eun also responded to comments about their relationship, agreeing with one viewer who suggested that Lee Gwan Hee behaves differently when the camera is not running.

Lee Gwan Hee and Yoo Si Eun first met through Netflix’s dating reality show Single’s Inferno 3. Although they did not choose each other in the show’s finale, the two later developed a romantic relationship and publicly confirmed that they were dating.

Lee Gwan Hee’s latest response makes clear that his 50-50 dating expense remark was intended as part of the couple’s lighthearted game rather than a serious statement about how they manage their relationship.
