Chae Soo Bin revealed that her first impression of Kim Young Kwang was completely different from how she sees him now.
The two actors, who worked together on Netflix’s Take Charge of My Heart, recently appeared on the YouTube channel Yoo In Radio and talked about how they became closer while filming.
When asked about Kim Young Kwang’s first impression, Chae Soo Bin admitted, “At first, I was a little scared.”
She explained that his tall build and quiet personality made him seem intimidating when they first met.
Chae Soo Bin said, “He has a big physical presence, and he isn’t the type to immediately talk warmly to someone. I thought he was scary at first, but once we became closer while filming, I realized there is no bigger tsundere than him.”
Kim Young Kwang jokingly complained that Chae Soo Bin keeps bringing up the same first impression whenever they promote their project.
He said, “I think this is our fourth promotional appearance, and every time we go somewhere, she keeps saying she originally thought I was scary.”
He added that he understands why people might see him that way because he usually needs time before becoming comfortable around someone.
Chae Soo Bin quickly clarified what she actually meant.
She explained, “What I wanted to say was that I thought he was scary at first, but I later realized he is actually a very warm person.”
Their playful exchange turned the story into a funny example of how Chae Soo Bin’s intimidating first impression of Kim Young Kwang completely changed once they became closer during filming.
