BTS’s Jimin made a strong TikTok debut, with his first video quickly surpassing 10 million views and continuing to climb.
Jimin uploaded his first video to his official TikTok account on September 28, using *Be Mine* from his second solo album *MUSE* as the background music.
Filmed against a sunset by the beach, the video showed Jimin performing an original choreography to the track.
The post surpassed 10 million views and 4.55 million likes in approximately 16 hours. It also reportedly reached No. 1 on TikTok’s U.S. trends.
By midnight on September 30, the video had grown to more than 15 million views and 6 million likes.
Jimin’s account also saw a major increase in followers. He had already attracted more than 5.3 million followers without posting any content, but gained more than 1 million additional followers within a day of uploading his first video. His follower count later surpassed 6.54 million.
Dance covers inspired by Jimin’s choreography also began appearing less than an hour after the video was uploaded.
TikTok Korea highlighted the post on its official account and playfully commented on Jimin making his TikTok debut shortly after the Chuseok holiday.
The response to his first post adds another strong social media milestone for Jimin while also bringing renewed attention to *Be Mine* and his solo album *MUSE*.
