Stray Kids have turned their name into a new festival brand, attracting a reported 270,000 fans across the first five STRAYCITY shows in Latin America.

Unlike a regular stop on the group’s world tour, STRAYCITY was created as a new festival concept built around Stray Kids as the headlining act. JYP Entertainment and Live Nation launched the project to combine the group’s music, performance style, and large-scale festival experience into its own branded event.

The first STRAYCITY series began in Bogotá, Colombia on September 9, continued with two shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina on September 14 and 15, and concluded its initial run with two performances in Mexico City on September 25 and 26.

According to JYP Entertainment, the five shows across the three Latin American cities attracted a combined audience of approximately 270,000 people.

Stray Kids headlined the festival with performances of some of their best-known songs, including MANIAC and Thunderous, as large crowds sang along during their sets.

JYP explained that the idea for STRAYCITY grew from Stray Kids’ experience performing at major stadiums and international music festivals. The group has previously headlined events including Lollapalooza Paris, Lollapalooza Chicago, I-Days, BST Hyde Park, and The Governors Ball Music Festival.

The new festival also follows Stray Kids’ extensive Latin American activities. Their 2025 dominATE world tour reportedly drew around 400,000 attendees across eight stadium concerts in five Latin American cities.

Earlier this month, Stray Kids also became the first K-pop act to headline Rock in Rio, performing for an audience of around 100,000 people on September 11.

With approximately 270,000 attendees across the first five STRAYCITY shows, the group has now established the festival as a separate large-scale live event under the Stray Kids name rather than simply another extension of their world tour.
