BTS member Jungkook continues to show strong global streaming power as 'Seven' reaches a new milestone on Spotify.
According to the latest ranking cited in Korean media, Seven is now No. 8 among Spotify’s most-streamed songs of the 2020s. The song moved up three places from No. 11 last year, making its latest rise especially notable.
More importantly, Seven is reportedly the only song by an Asian group or solo artist to appear inside the top 10.
Released in July 2023, Seven now sits alongside some of the decade’s biggest global hits, including Harry Styles’ As It Was, The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s Stay, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ Die With A Smile, and Billie Eilish’s BIRDS OF A FEATHER. Miley Cyrus’ Flowers ranks No. 9, while Olivia Rodrigo’s Drivers License is No. 10.
As of September 29, Seven has surpassed 3.099 billion streams on Spotify and ranks among the platform’s most-streamed songs of all time.
The track has also collected several major Spotify records since its release. It became the first song by an Asian artist to spend a total of 71 days at No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart.
It also remained No. 1 on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart for nine weeks, the longest run for a song by a male artist worldwide in 2023.
Jungkook previously earned Guinness World Records recognition for achievements connected to Seven, including reaching 1 billion Spotify streams in record time.
With Seven climbing from No. 11 to No. 8 in the 2020s streaming ranking, the song continues to maintain its position among Spotify’s biggest global hits more than three years after its release.
