tvN’s Four Hands, Two Sonatas continues to draw strong viewership as a major secret involving Song Kang and Lee Jun Young’s characters came to light.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 9 of Four Hands, Two Sonatas, which aired on September 26, recorded an average nationwide rating of 7.2%, with its peak reaching 8.5%.
In the Seoul metropolitan area, the episode earned an average rating of 7.3% and climbed as high as 8.9%.
The drama also ranked No. 1 in its time slot across all channels, including terrestrial networks, in both nationwide and metropolitan area figures. It has now remained No. 1 among cable and general programming channels in its time slot for nine consecutive episodes.
Four Hands, Two Sonatas also took first place in its time slot among tvN’s key 20 to 49 demographic across cable and general programming channels.
The latest episode brought an important turning point for Kang Bio, played by Song Kang. Without revealing too much, Bio was confronted with disturbing information involving his mother, Kang Ji Hye, played by Yoon Se Ah.
At the same time, he learned the truth behind a secret Choi Jung Yo, played by Lee Jun Young, had been keeping — including that Jung Yo had only pretended to have lost his memory.
The discoveries created a new conflict for the characters while setting up the drama’s next developments.
