The man accused of breaking into actress Nana’s home has reportedly been indicted on an additional charge for allegedly filing a false criminal complaint against her.
According to reports citing South Korean legal authorities, the man, who is in his 30s, was recently indicted on suspicion of making a false accusation.
The case began in November 2025, when he was accused of entering Nana’s home without permission, threatening her with a weapon, and demanding valuables. Nana and her mother reportedly suffered injuries while restraining him.
The man later filed a complaint accusing Nana of attempted murder and aggravated assault. Police decided not to forward those allegations after determining that Nana’s actions were considered self-defense.
Prosecutors have now separately charged the man over the complaint he filed against Nana.
He is also continuing to face proceedings over the original alleged home invasion. Prosecutors recently requested a 10-year prison sentence in his robbery and injury appeal, with a ruling scheduled for October 22.
The additional false-accusation case remains subject to court proceedings.
