aespa’s Winter has proudly revealed that she recently earned her driver’s license — and managed to pass the test on her first attempt.
During a September 21 video released by Cosmopolitan Korea, Winter showed viewers several personal items from her bag, including her newly issued driver’s license.
Showing the license to the camera, Winter shared her excitement over reaching the milestone.
“I finally got my driver’s license,” she said. “It’s my first license in my life, so it feels really precious and I’m very proud of it.”
Winter jokingly explained that receiving the license made her feel as though her driving ability had officially been recognized.
“It kind of feels like I’ve been recognized by the country, like, ‘My driving skills have been approved.’ It also makes me feel like I’ve become a real adult,” she said.
When asked whether she felt nervous while taking the test, Winter said the experience was unfamiliar but not as frightening as she expected.
“I wasn’t used to it, but I wasn’t really scared or nervous,” she explained. “Maybe it’s because I ride in cars often. I passed on my first try.”
Winter also revealed the type of vehicle she may prefer in the future. Although she has not purchased her own car yet, she said she enjoys larger vehicles.
“I think I like big cars. I usually ride in a Carnival, so when I get into something smaller after being in a big car, it feels a little cramped,” she shared. “I think I prefer something big like a Carnival.”
Along with the story behind her license, Winter also revealed the identification photo used for it, giving fans a look at her first official driver’s license.
