Lee Min Ho’s popularity overseas has led to a memorable tradition on his filming sets, with fans from different countries regularly sending food trucks for the cast and crew.
Actors Yoo Hae Jin and Park Hae Il shared the story during the September 22 episode of the web variety show Salon Drip 2.
Looking back on filming with Lee Min Ho, Park Hae Il said the actor’s international fans often sent food trucks filled with different kinds of meals and snacks.
He explained, “Lee Min Ho is loved in many different countries, and fans from each country sent food trucks as gifts.”
According to Park Hae Il, the deliveries became so frequent that the cast started wondering where the next one would come from.
He recalled, “There were so many delicious foods arriving by truck that we would ask, ‘Which country is it today?’”
Park Hae Il added that the fan support helped lift the mood on set, saying, “It gave us energy and felt really nice.”
The story highlighted how Lee Min Ho’s international fanbase also showed support for the people working around him, not just the actor himself.
Yoo Hae Jin also joked about how much he enjoys meals on filming sets, saying that mealtime is something he always looks forward to during production.
