Jung Eun Chae revealed that the renewed popularity of Anna led to a reunion with Suzy and other cast members nearly four years after the drama first aired.

During an interview on September 22, Jung Eun Chae reflected on how several of her past projects, including Anna, recently received fresh attention through television and streaming platforms.

She said she was surprised to see the 2022 series gaining interest again after so much time had passed.

“It was a project I really enjoyed even while filming,” she said. “Seeing it receive love again after all this time felt amazing.”

Jung Eun Chae added that the renewed attention also made her feel proud of her choices as an actress.

“Because we put so much effort into making a project, you always hope even one more person will watch it,” she explained. “Personally, it also made me think that maybe I have a good eye for choosing projects.”

The actress also revealed that she recently met with Suzy, Kim Jun Han and Park Ye Young, who all appeared in Anna.

According to Jung Eun Chae, the cast had not been able to gather together for years because of their busy schedules.

“It has been about four years since Anna,” she said. “After that, everyone became busy with their own work, so we never really had the chance to all meet.”

She explained that the drama’s return to television gave them a reason to reconnect.

“With Anna airing again, we said we should meet and spend some time together. Everyone made time for it,” she shared.

During the reunion, the cast talked about how meaningful the drama had been for each of them.

“We talked about how the project helped us grow as actors and how people responded positively to it,” Jung Eun Chae said. “It is a project we are all grateful for.”

She added that Anna also helped change how viewers saw her as an actress, giving her a chance to show a different side of herself from the more feminine roles she had often played before.

Jung Eun Chae said she hopes to continue taking on different characters and genres instead of being limited to one image.
