BTS's V drew major attention online following the group's performance at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.

BTS took the stage at T-Mobile Arena on September 18 local time, performing several songs including Swim, MIC Drop, 2.0, and FYA.

During the performance, V attracted attention for his vocals and energetic stage presence. The official Las Vegas social media account also shared a video of the singer with the caption, “Tae is lit.”

The reaction continued online after the festival.

According to social media analytics company Talkwalker, the keyword “taehyung” generated around 353,000 mentions and 2.7 million engagements on X. His stage name “V” reportedly recorded around 598,000 mentions and 3 million engagements.

V also saw a noticeable increase in Google searches following the performance. According to the reported Google Trends data, his worldwide search interest reached a peak score of 100, the platform's highest relative interest level for a given period.

The report also stated that V recorded the highest search interest among the BTS members in more than 50 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan.

With hundreds of thousands of social media mentions and a sharp rise in search interest, V emerged as one of the major online talking points surrounding BTS's appearance at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival.
