SBS’s Flex X Cop 2 ended its run on a high note, setting a new personal ratings record while also surpassing the highest rating achieved by its first season.

According to Nielsen Korea, the September 19 finale recorded an average nationwide household rating of 11.8%. The episode also posted 11.7% in the Seoul metropolitan area and reached a peak of 14.1%.

The final episode ranked No. 1 in its time slot and also took first place among Saturday miniseries.

Among viewers aged 20 to 49, Flex X Cop 2 recorded an average rating of 3.5% and reached a peak of 4.5%, ranking first among Saturday programs in the key demographic.

The finale marked a noticeable jump from the previous episode, which recorded 9.4% nationwide, and gave the drama its strongest performance of the season.

Most notably, the 11.8% nationwide rating surpassed the highest rating recorded by Flex X Cop Season 1, allowing the sequel to finish with a new franchise record.

The finale wrapped up the season’s main criminal case involving Jin Yi Soo, played by Ahn Bo Hyun, and the violent crimes team while keeping the ending open for another possible story.

With its highest ratings arriving in the final episode, Flex X Cop 2 closed its second season with stronger numbers than its predecessor and a new series-best record.
