CORTIS is expanding its presence at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards after receiving a nomination for Best Group, bringing the rookie boy group’s total nominations to three.

The group, consisting of Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho, is now nominated for Best Group, Best New Artist, and Best K-Pop.

The achievement comes about a year after CORTIS made its debut. In the Best Group category, the group joins nominees including BTS, KATSEYE, FLO, and Fuerza Regida, with eight acts competing in total.

Previous K-pop winners of Best Group include BTS from 2019 through 2022, BLACKPINK in 2023 and 2025, and SEVENTEEN in 2024.

The 2026 MTV VMAs will take place on September 27 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, with the ceremony set to air on CBS, MTV, and Paramount+.

CORTIS is also continuing to gain attention on global music charts. The group’s expanded second mini album, *GREENGREEN_playextended*, ranked No. 185 on Spotify’s latest Weekly Top Albums Global chart, extending its run to four consecutive weeks.

The expanded album includes new tracks *PACK IT UP* and *MONEYMONEYMONEY*. It previously entered the global Spotify album chart at No. 149.

With three MTV VMA nominations and continued activity on international charts, CORTIS is heading into the awards ceremony with one of its biggest milestones since debut.
