Actress Choi Myung Bin’s agency has responded to reports that she could join Netflix’s upcoming series Solo Leveling as the younger sister of Byeon Woo Seok’s character.
On September 20, O3 Collective addressed the casting report and stated, “Nothing has been confirmed.”
Choi Myung Bin had been mentioned as a possible choice for Sung Jin Ah, the younger sister of protagonist Sung Jin Woo, who will be played by Byeon Woo Seok.
If confirmed, the role would place Choi Myung Bin alongside Byeon Woo Seok and Han So Hee in the highly anticipated Netflix adaptation. However, her agency emphasized that the casting has not been finalized.
Solo Leveling is based on the popular web novel and webtoon of the same name and follows Sung Jin Woo, a low-ranked hunter who gains the ability to dramatically increase his strength.
Choi Myung Bin made her film debut in 2016 with Queen of Walking and has continued building her acting career through various projects. She recently signed an exclusive contract with O3 Collective, which is also home to 2PM member and actor Lee Junho.
For now, fans will have to wait for an official announcement to see whether Choi Myung Bin will appear as Byeon Woo Seok’s on-screen younger sister.
