Park Ji Hoon has added another major trophy to his growing acting career after winning the Grand Prize at the 8th Daejeon Special Effects Film Festival.
On September 17, his agency YY Entertainment celebrated the achievement through its official social media accounts, writing, *“Congratulations on winning the Grand Prize at the 8th Daejeon Special Effects Film Festival (DFX OTT Awards).”*
Photos released with the announcement showed Park Ji Hoon smiling while holding his trophy. He also posed with Kkumdori, Daejeon's well-known mascot, which appeared in a special version featuring the DFX logo.
The award recognizes Park Ji Hoon's performance in the hit film The King's Warden, adding to the honors he has already received for the role.
Released in February, The King's Warden became a major box office success in South Korea, reportedly attracting more than 16.93 million moviegoers.
Park Ji Hoon's performance has also earned him recognition at other major ceremonies. He previously received the Best New Actor award in the film category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards and the New Male Actor award at the 24th Director's Cut Awards.
Fans congratulated him online following his latest win, celebrating another milestone in his transition from singer to increasingly recognized actor.
Meanwhile, Park Ji Hoon is currently considering an appearance in the upcoming drama *Holding on to the End of This Night*.
