IVE’s Jang Wonyoung is receiving attention once again for her professionalism on set, this time after reportedly helping a filming schedule finish two hours earlier than expected.
On September 15, a social media post from a staff member who works on Wonyoung’s makeup began circulating online. The staff member shared a photo of Wonyoung and praised her for helping the day’s work wrap up well ahead of schedule.
The staff member wrote, “Wonyoung, you finished two hours early today. You’re the best.”
The post comes only about two weeks after another industry worker shared a similar experience of working with the IVE member.
At the time, the worker explained that Wonyoung was easy to work with because she quickly understood what was needed on set, prepared for her next movements before being asked, and communicated her preferences clearly.
The worker claimed that a shoot scheduled for three hours could sometimes be completed in around 40 minutes when working with her.
They wrote, “People who have worked in this field will understand, but working with Wonyoung is really comfortable.”
The staff member added that Wonyoung would often move to her next position and prepare her pose before receiving instructions, allowing the production team to focus on their work without unnecessary delays.
Her reputation for working efficiently has also brought renewed attention to an older appearance on JTBC’s Let’s Eat Dinner Together.
During the episode, Wonyoung, who was still a minor at the time, explained that filming needed to finish by 10 p.m. and that a location near her accommodation had been requested because of the time restriction.
Veteran entertainer Lee Kyung Kyu, who is known for preferring efficient and fast-paced filming, reacted positively to the situation. He later told Wonyoung, “I think you’re going to do well.”
With another staff member now publicly praising her ability to finish work ahead of schedule, Wonyoung is once again drawing attention for her efficient and professional approach behind the scenes.
