Lisa has left the possibility of a full BLACKPINK reunion open, saying it could happen "if the right time comes."
During an appearance on the U.S. podcast 'In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele', Lisa discussed her path to becoming a K-pop artist, her solo career and the future of BLACKPINK.
Speaking about her early years, Lisa said her mother recognized her passion for dance and enrolled her in a dance academy. She later took vocal lessons there before auditioning for YG at 13 and moving to South Korea at 14.
Lisa also recalled that around 4,000 people auditioned. After waiting several months without hearing from the company, she believed she had failed, but eventually received a call asking, "How soon can you come to Korea?"
When asked whether fans could see all four members together again, Lisa replied, "If the right time comes."
She explained that the members are currently focused on their solo work after recently completing a tour. At the same time, Lisa emphasized her close bond with BLACKPINK, saying, "BLACKPINK is my family. We were talking together on a messenger chat even yesterday."
Lisa is also continuing her solo activities with the single 'SaWaDiKa', a pre-release track from her upcoming mini-album 'PRESS PLAY'. The music video was filmed in Bangkok, her hometown.
