Stray Kids has added another major international achievement after their latest mini album THIS & THAT earned Gold certification in France.
According to France’s National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP), THIS & THAT received Gold certification after surpassing 50,000 album units in the country.
The achievement came roughly 20 days after the mini album was released on August 7, highlighting Stray Kids’ continued strong performance in the European music market.
With THIS & THAT, Stray Kids now has six albums certified Gold by SNEP.
Their previous Gold-certified releases in France include their third full album ★★★★★ (5-STAR), mini albums 樂-STAR and ATE, SKZHOP HIPTAPE 合 (HOP), and fourth full album KARMA.
The latest certification comes as THIS & THAT also continues to perform strongly on the Billboard 200.
The album debuted at No. 1 on the August 22-dated Billboard 200 before ranking No. 3 the following week and No. 8 on the September 5 chart. This gave THIS & THAT three consecutive weeks inside the top 10.
The release also extended Stray Kids’ record of consecutive No. 1 debuts on the Billboard 200 to nine albums, further strengthening the group’s presence across major music markets in North America and Europe.
Stray Kids’ self-producing members have also recently gained attention for their songwriting records.
According to Korea Music Copyright Association data as of August 26, 3RACHA members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han ranked among the K-pop idols with the highest numbers of registered copyrighted songs.
Bang Chan was credited with 243 registered works, while Changbin had 207 and Han had 204, placing all three among the leading idol songwriters on the list.
With another French certification and continued Billboard chart success, Stray Kids is extending its international achievements with THIS & THAT while maintaining its reputation as a group heavily involved in creating its own music.
