BTS member Jungkook drew attention after showing fans the large collection of vitamins, supplements, and medicines he carries with him.
On September 1, Jungkook held a Weverse Live broadcast and spent time talking casually with fans despite appearing tired during the late-night stream.
At one point, he looked around and said, “I need to take magnesium.” He then decided to show viewers the bag where he keeps his supplements and other medicines.
Jungkook said, “I’ll show you the vitamins I carry around. This is my medicine bag. My vitamin bag.”
He then pulled out a bag containing numerous white bottles and laughed as he admitted, “There are a lot.”
Jungkook went on to explain that he carries different items for different situations, including morning vitamins, previously prescribed cold and tonsil medication, medicine he said had been prescribed after his liver-related test levels increased, medication he takes when he cannot sleep, and treatments for skin inflammation and allergies.
While explaining his routine, Jungkook made it clear that the collection was not arranged based on professional advice from a pharmacist.
He said, “There are scientific claims saying things like ‘it’s better to take fewer than five vitamin pills,’ and Jimin hyung has also talked about that. Of course, I didn’t set all of this up after receiving advice from a pharmacist. But I haven’t really felt uncomfortable when taking them.”
Jungkook also explained that he sometimes reduces the number of individual supplements he takes.
He added, “If I feel like it’s too much, I take a multivitamin instead. I do that for two or three days and then go back to my usual routine.”
He later took his magnesium during the broadcast.
The unexpected look inside Jungkook’s medicine bag led to mixed reactions from fans. Some expressed concern about the number of supplements and medicines he carries, while others noted how openly he discussed his personal routine.
Jungkook has also spoken briefly about his health in recent broadcasts. During an earlier livestream with BTS member V, he mentioned visiting a hospital because of a fatigue fracture, while V also discussed a health concern following his military service.
Jungkook did not suggest that fans should follow his supplement or medication routine, and his comments reflected his own personal experience rather than medical advice.
