IVE members Jang Wonyoung and An Yujin are drawing attention ahead of their upcoming media exhibition after some fans questioned its ticket prices.
The two idols will hold An-Young Media Exhibition from September 5 to 27 at The Seouliteum in Seongsu, Seoul.
General admission tickets are priced at 30,000 won, while special tickets cost 66,000 won. Each visit lasts about 60 minutes, with eight sessions scheduled daily between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
According to the official notice, general ticket holders will receive an admission ticket, leaflet, wristband, two photocards, a sticker, and an MD order sheet.
The special package includes those benefits along with an original ticket, a special photocard set, A3 posters, and a photocard holder.
However, some fans expressed disappointment with the price compared with the included benefits.
Online reactions included comments such as, *“It feels like I’m going just to get photocards,”* “Even the basic price feels expensive,” and “The price difference is too big.”
Others questioned whether the special ticket offered enough additional value, while some pointed out that IVE has many younger fans who may find the price difficult to afford.
The exhibition was also compared with BLACKPINK Jennie’s J2NNI5 photo exhibition, which charged 10,000 won for admission when it was held earlier this year.
Some fans commented, “Jennie’s was 10,000 won,” and “I don’t understand why this one is so expensive.”
Jennie later donated the proceeds from J2NNI5, along with additional personal funds, for a total donation of 100 million won.
Despite the criticism from some fans, interest in Jang Wonyoung and An Yujin’s exhibition remains strong. Tickets for An-Young Media Exhibition reached No. 1 on Melon Ticket’s ranking, showing high demand ahead of its opening.
The discussion has therefore centered mainly on whether the ticket packages justify their prices, even as the exhibition continues to attract significant attention from fans.
