DAY6’s Young K and Yoo Seung Ho reunite as close friends for a special appearance with Yoo Jae Suk on ‘Whenever Possible’

DAY6’s Young K and actor Yoo Seung Ho are set to show their close friendship together on SBS’s Whenever Possible.

According to broadcasting industry sources on September 2, Young K and Yoo Seung Ho recently completed filming for the variety show hosted by Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok. Their episode is scheduled to air sometime in September.

Whenever Possible is a variety program in which the hosts visit people during small breaks in their everyday lives and take on different missions for a chance to give them special prizes. The program airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. KST.

Young K and Yoo Seung Ho, both born in 1993, have developed a friendship through previous projects. Their connection became publicly known after Yoo Seung Ho starred as the male lead in the music video for DAY6’s Welcome to the Show, the title track from the group’s 2024 mini album Fourever. He later appeared as a guest on Young K’s YouTube variety program Young K’s K-Survival Story in June 2024.

The upcoming appearance will also mark another reunion between Young K and Yoo Jae Suk. Young K previously worked with Yoo Jae Suk as part of the project group One Top on MBC’s Hangout with Yoo. He later appeared with DAY6 on You Quiz on the Block, joined Wonpil for Sixth Sense, and appeared by himself on Running Man. His appearance on Whenever Possible will be his fifth variety show collaboration with Yoo Jae Suk.

Young K has also remained active as a solo artist. His second full-length album YOUNGEST, released on July 27, reached No. 1 on multiple music and album charts. He followed the release with a three-day solo concert at Inspire Arena in Incheon from August 14 to 16 and is continuing his YOUNGEST tour across several Asian cities, including Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, and Kuala Lumpur.

Meanwhile, Yoo Seung Ho is currently appearing in SBS’s Flex X Cop 2 as Yoo Sung Won, a third-generation chaebol and internationally recognized sculptor. He is also preparing a photography exhibition, BLUE HOUR: Between Light and Darkness, About Brilliant Imperfection, which will run in Seoul from October 3 to 11. A portion of the exhibition proceeds is planned to be donated to organizations supporting people in need and abandoned cats.

With Young K and Yoo Seung Ho appearing together as real-life friends, their chemistry and interactions with Yoo Jae Suk are expected to be a major highlight when their episode of Whenever Possible airs in September.
