BTS’s V is once again drawing attention for his influence after several items he wore during the group’s Toronto concerts reportedly sold out quickly.

BTS held their World Tour Arirang concerts at Rogers Stadium in Toronto on August 22 and 23. During the shows, V was seen with a maple leaf shaped CN Tower key chain and a cap featuring the Canadian flag.

Fans soon began searching for the same items and sharing store and stock information online.

One fan who visited the CN Tower to buy the key chain said the item was already sold out and staff could not confirm when it would return.

The fan recalled, “The employees said they didn’t know when more key chains would arrive and wondered why so many people were looking for this product. When I told them V had used it, they understood.”

The Canadian flag cap V wore also reportedly sold out across multiple stores.

According to fans trying to purchase it, even wholesalers had no remaining stock. Reports also said the cap’s price increased from 17 dollars to 35 dollars before selling out again.

The repeated sellouts have been described by fans as another example of the “V effect,” referring to the strong attention products can receive after being seen on the BTS member.

V is currently active as an ambassador for several global and Korean brands, further highlighting his strong influence in fashion, beauty, and consumer trends.
