BTS’s Jimin is already receiving major birthday support weeks before turning 31, taking first place in six October birthday polls across different fan voting platforms.
Jimin, whose birthday falls on October 13, has secured a series of advertising rewards through the voting results. The projects are expected to appear across South Korea and Japan as fans prepare for the annual “Jimtober” celebrations.
On August 31, Jimin ranked No. 1 in CHOEAEDOL’s October birthday vote. The win earned him an advertisement on a large digital billboard in Jamsil, Seoul.
He also finished first in HIGHER’s October birthday poll, which will result in advertisements at the media chandelier inside Seoul’s Lotte World Mall and Pandora Vision in Shibuya, Japan.
Earlier, Jimin won FANDORA’s October birthday vote on August 28, securing a seven day advertisement at Hongdae Entrance’s MaxVision display.
Another first place finish on global voting platform KOOKY will lead to a fan made birthday café event celebrating Jimin.
Jimin also topped IDOKI’s October birthday poll, which closed on August 21. Rewards from the vote include a digital billboard advertisement near Ewha Womans University and Seoul subway CM board advertisements scheduled to run for 30 days.
His winning streak began earlier through THEKKING, where he finished No. 1 in the platform’s October birthday ranking vote that ended on July 13.
With six birthday poll victories already confirmed and other voting events still underway, fans are preparing a month long celebration for Jimin in October.
Known among fans as “Jimtober,” a combination of Jimin and October, the celebration is expected to include advertisements and various fan projects in multiple countries leading up to his October 13 birthday.
