Stray Kids leader Bang Chan spoke out after a person at Gimpo International Airport was reportedly seen kicking Felix’s suitcase while filming the group at close range.
On August 31, Bang Chan addressed the incident through the fan communication platform Bubble after Stray Kids returned to South Korea.
He wrote, “Earlier at the airport, there was someone who kicked Lix’s suitcase. Let’s not cause trouble for others. Aren’t you embarrassed?”
Bang Chan also criticized people who crowd artists while recording them and warned that such behavior can affect other travelers and create safety risks.
He continued, “I don’t think they were STAY. I don’t understand what they are trying to achieve by putting a phone right in someone’s face and causing problems for other airport passengers. People can get hurt.”
According to publicly shared airport footage cited in Korean media reports, a woman dressed in black approached the Stray Kids members while filming them on her phone. During the situation, she was reportedly seen kicking a suitcase belonging to Felix that was being handled by a staff member.
Bang Chan’s comments focused on respecting personal space and avoiding behavior that could inconvenience or endanger artists, staff, and other people at the airport.
Stray Kids had returned from Japan after performing at Tokyo’s National Stadium as part of their RUN IT world tour. The group is also scheduled to continue its Japan tour with additional dome concerts later this year.
