TWICE’s Nayeon has reportedly purchased a building and land in Seoul’s upscale Cheongdam neighborhood for 9.5 billion won.
According to a report published on August 28, Nayeon signed a contract in May to acquire the property in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, and recently completed the ownership registration.
The property includes an older building with one basement floor and two floors above ground. After an expansion completed in 2010, the building has a total floor area of approximately 218.87 square meters.
The site is currently registered for neighborhood commercial facilities and sits on a corner connected to two roads, which may increase its potential for future commercial use or redevelopment.
A mortgage with a maximum secured claim of 10.2 billion won has also reportedly been registered on the property. This figure represents the maximum amount secured under the registration and does not necessarily mean the same amount was borrowed.
The report suggested that Nayeon may have considered the land value and future redevelopment potential of the property rather than focusing only on rental income from the existing building.
Meanwhile, Nayeon remains active with TWICE, which recently completed its THIS IS FOR world tour. The tour included 81 concerts across 44 locations in Asia, Oceania, North America, and Europe.
TWICE also continued to expand its global touring record, including major performances in Japan and strong attendance across its international stops.
