Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin will portray a longtime couple whose familiar relationship begins to change in KBS 2TV’s upcoming romance drama A Love Other Than Yours.
Set to premiere on September 12, A Love Other Than Yours follows Nam Goong Ho, played by Seo Kang Joon, and Lee Mi Do, played by Ahn Eun Jin, who have been dating for 10 years.
After spending a decade together, the couple starts facing unfamiliar emotions that put their once-stable relationship to the test.
A newly released preview highlights the realistic pressures surrounding their romance. Lee Mi Do was once considered a promising independent film director, but her planned projects repeatedly fall through.
Her uncertain career stands in contrast to Nam Goong Ho’s more stable working life, creating growing tension between them.
As frustration builds, Mi Do confronts Goong Ho with the emotional question, “You said it was okay even if I failed, didn’t you?” Goong Ho, who has remained by her side for years, also begins expressing feelings he has kept inside.
Their relationship becomes even more complicated when new people enter their lives.
Lawyer Han Tae Seung, played by Lee Joo An, approaches Mi Do when her confidence is low and tells her, “What your boyfriend could never do for you, I’ll do it.”
Meanwhile, Goong Ho’s junior colleague Park Soo Ah, played by Jo Aram, develops feelings for him and says, “I’m going to make the happiest memory of your life.”
Rather than focusing only on a traditional love square, the drama is expected to explore how a long relationship can change when comfort, personal struggles, and new emotions begin pulling two people in different directions.
The production team explained, “A Love Other Than Yours goes beyond a simple four-way romance and shows the delicate emotions that make relationships change. It portrays the realistic side of love that many people may have experienced, as well as the journey toward a more mature kind of love.”
With Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin portraying a couple already 10 years into their relationship, viewers can expect a romance centered on whether familiarity can survive when both partners begin questioning what they truly want.
A Love Other Than Yours premieres September 12 at 9:20 p.m. KST on KBS 2TV.
