BTS is setting major touring records with ARIRANG, even though the world tour has not yet reached its halfway point.

According to Billboard Boxscore figures cited in the report, BTS’s ARIRANG World Tour generated $433.2 million in revenue and attracted approximately 2.3 million concertgoers through August 11. The figures came from 38 sold-out shows since the tour opened in Goyang on April 9.

The total reportedly makes ARIRANG the highest-grossing tour by a vocal group worldwide, surpassing records set by other major groups. BTS reached the milestone after completing only 38 of the tour’s planned 85 concerts.

The tour has also reportedly set a new benchmark for an Asian artist, surpassing BLACKPINK’s Born Pink World Tour, which earned $331.8 million.

BTS also broke its own attendance record. The group’s previous Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour attracted about 2.02 million people between 2018 and 2019. With ARIRANG already reaching 2.3 million attendees, BTS has now reportedly become the first Asian artist to surpass 2 million concertgoers on two separate tours.

The group has also posted strong monthly Boxscore results. In April, BTS reportedly earned $76.2 million and returned to No. 1 on Billboard’s monthly Top Tours chart for the first time in four years.

Their numbers climbed even higher in May, when 12 concerts across the United States and Mexico brought in $127.8 million from approximately 641,000 tickets. According to the report, this became the highest monthly touring revenue recorded by a group since Billboard began tracking the monthly chart in 2019.

That figure surpassed the Rolling Stones’ previous group record of $95 million from August 2019.

BTS continued its strong run in July, drawing approximately 582,000 attendees and earning $102.5 million from eight concerts.

The scale of the achievement is especially notable because ARIRANG World Tour is scheduled to continue through March 2027, with 85 concerts planned across 34 cities in 23 countries. With only 38 shows included in the latest reported figures, 47 performances remain on the schedule.

With $433.2 million already earned and 2.3 million attendees recorded, BTS’s final totals could rise significantly as ARIRANG continues around the world.
