SBS drama Flex X Cop 2 has reached a new personal best in ratings as Ahn Bo Hyun and Jung Eun Chae continue their crime-solving partnership.

Episode 6, which aired on August 22, recorded a peak rating of 9.4%, marking the drama’s highest figure so far. The episode also posted a 7.8% rating in the Seoul metropolitan area.

The latest broadcast followed Jin Yi Soo, played by Ahn Bo Hyun, and Joo Hye Ra, played by Jung Eun Chae, as they investigated a complicated murder case connected to a hotel.

Rather than relying only on traditional police methods, the episode once again highlighted Jin Yi Soo’s wealthy background and unconventional approach to investigations.

One lighthearted moment came when Hye Ra suggested using Yi Soo’s private jet to catch a suspect attempting to leave the country.

Yi Soo later announced, “Mr. Yeom Jae Seop, please transfer to this plane. Jin Yi Soo is here!” as part of their unusual arrest operation.

Without revealing the major twists, the investigation eventually uncovered several hidden relationships and unexpected details behind the case, allowing the team to bring it to a conclusion.

The episode also set up another major storyline involving Yoo Seung Ho. He appears as world-famous sculptor Yoo Sung Won, whose connection to Joo Hye Ra is expected to become important in upcoming episodes.

In a preview scene, Hye Ra warned, “Yoo Sung Won will kill someone again. I’m going to stop him,” raising questions about their history and what may happen next.

With Flex X Cop 2 now reaching a 9.4% peak and Yoo Seung Ho preparing to take a larger role in the story, attention is growing around whether the drama can continue setting new ratings records.
