Ryu Seung Ryong has shared a major update on Moving 2, revealing that filming is already underway and that he has completed his first shoot with Go Youn Jung.
During an interview on August 25 for his upcoming film The Light, the actor briefly discussed returning to the Disney+ series several years after filming the first season.
Ryu Seung Ryong explained that although the original Moving was filmed around four years ago, season 2 continues directly from the previous story. He admitted that returning to the physically demanding role has required extra preparation.
He said, “We filmed Moving about four years ago, but season 2 continues directly from there. It is physically demanding.”
To prepare, Ryu Seung Ryong said he has been focusing on his health and fitness.
He shared, “There is no other choice. I have to take even better care of myself. I do not drink or smoke, and getting personal training every day is the main way I manage myself.”
Despite the physical challenge, the actor described returning to a familiar series as something special.
He said, “For actors, being able to film a continuing series is like receiving a gift.”
Ryu Seung Ryong also revealed that he recently filmed his first scene with Go Youn Jung and was surprised by how naturally they returned to their characters.
He explained, “I had my first shoot with Go Youn Jung, and it felt like we had filmed together just two months ago. I think it is because the characters were already firmly established.”
His comments confirm that production on Moving 2 has progressed to filming, while also offering fans an early glimpse at the returning cast’s reunion.
Disney+ has not yet announced an official premiere date for Moving 2.
