tvN’s Spooky in Love wrapped up its run with its highest ratings yet, ending the drama on a strong note.

According to Nielsen Korea, the August 23 finale recorded an average nationwide rating of 7.9% and peaked at 9%. In the Seoul metropolitan area, the episode also averaged 7.9% and reached a high of 8.9%.

The results marked a new personal best for the drama in both nationwide and metropolitan ratings. Spooky in Love also remained No. 1 in its time slot among cable and general programming channels for six consecutive weeks.

Among viewers aged 20 to 49, the drama ranked first in its time slot across all channels, including terrestrial broadcasters, in both nationwide and metropolitan measurements.

The 12-episode series starred Park Eun Bin as Cheon Yeo Ri and Yang Se Jong as Ma Kang Wook. Without revealing major spoilers, the finale brought their story to a hopeful conclusion as the two characters looked toward their future together after overcoming the challenges surrounding them.

Beyond television ratings, Spooky in Love also showed strong international performance. As of August 19, the drama had remained in Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English TV ranking for five consecutive weeks.

The series also stayed near the top of Korean drama and cast buzz rankings throughout its broadcast. Related videos had surpassed 570 million cumulative views as of August 18.

With its highest ratings arriving in the final episode, Spooky in Love ended its run with strong domestic viewership and continued global interest.
