Yoo Ah In’s new agency Billions has directly addressed public concerns surrounding the actor’s return to entertainment, saying it understands that rebuilding trust will require a careful and long-term approach.

On August 21, Billions released an official statement after confirming its exclusive contract with Yoo Ah In. Rather than focusing only on his new start, the company acknowledged concerns connected to his past legal issues and recent return to acting.

Billions stated, “We are taking seriously the concerns surrounding Yoo Ah In’s past case and his recent return to activities.”

The agency said it held several lengthy and candid conversations with Yoo Ah In before deciding to work with him. According to Billions, those discussions focused on the responsibility and attitude expected from the actor as he resumes his career.

The company emphasized that its goal is not simply to help Yoo Ah In return to work as quickly as possible.

Billions explained, “What was considered most important was not better conditions or external support for simply restarting activities, but finding a sincere partner who could carefully think through every step of asking the public for forgiveness and understanding and rebuilding trust.”

The agency added that it agreed with this approach and intends to support Yoo Ah In from a long-term perspective rather than rushing the process.

Billions continued, “We will not take the past lightly or try to move past it quickly.”

The company said it believes regaining trust requires reflection and a sincere attitude, adding that it will listen to criticism from both the public and the media.

It also stated, “Along with reflection on past mistakes, we will work carefully and sincerely so that his determination toward his work and acting can be shown through his future actions and the passage of time.”

Billions said it plans to carefully manage Yoo Ah In’s future activities while providing a stable environment that allows him to focus on acting.

Yoo Ah In has recently resumed acting activities after confirming his appearance in director Jang Jae Hyun’s upcoming film Vampire. Jang Jae Hyun previously directed Exhuma.

With its latest statement, Billions made clear that Yoo Ah In’s return will not be treated as a simple comeback, saying the company plans to focus on responsibility, reflection, and gradually rebuilding public trust.
