BTS member Jimin has ranked among some of the world’s biggest public figures in a recent Instagram influence ranking.

According to influencer analytics platform HypeAuditor, Jimin placed No. 4 worldwide on its Instagram influence ranking as of August 20, making him the only Korean influencer to enter the global top five.

Jimin’s Instagram account has surpassed 59.9 million followers, while his posts reportedly receive an average of around 7.4 million likes. His engagement rate was listed at 13.98%.

His strong performance was also reflected across several countries. Jimin ranked No. 1 overall in South Korea and the United Kingdom, No. 2 in Mexico, and No. 4 in the United States, Brazil, and India.

In HypeAuditor’s music category, Jimin ranked No. 2 globally while taking the No. 1 spot in South Korea and the United Kingdom. He also placed No. 2 in major music markets including the United States, India, Brazil, and Mexico.

The ranking drew additional attention because Jimin reportedly reached No. 4 globally after posting only twice, on August 7 and August 17.

HypeAuditor uses data including account activity, audience quality, and engagement to measure influencer performance, meaning rankings can change depending on activity and other factors.

As of August 20, Cristiano Ronaldo ranked No. 1 globally, followed by Lionel Messi at No. 2 and Selena Gomez at No. 3. Jimin placed No. 4, while Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi ranked No. 5.

Jimin’s latest ranking once again highlights his strong global reach on social media, placing him alongside some of the most followed and influential public figures in the world.
