BTS member Jimin has inspired fans around the world to take part in a growing donation campaign after a touching moment with a young guest at a concert in the United States gained widespread attention.

On August 15, Jimin met Olivia, a child who was specially invited to BTS’s concert at Arlington Stadium through a collaboration involving Heroes For Children and UnitedHealthcare.

During the concert, Jimin gave Olivia a gift before warmly hugging her and giving her a kiss on the cheek. Olivia immediately reacted with excitement, saying, “I got a kiss!”

The brief interaction quickly spread online and reportedly encouraged BTS fans from different countries to support a fundraising campaign connected to Heroes For Children, an organization that assists families of children facing serious illnesses.

Heroes For Children later thanked Jimin through its official social media account, describing the meeting as “a moment filled with joy, love, and pure happiness.”

According to a representative from the organization, donations began arriving from fans around the world after videos of Jimin and Olivia went viral online.

The fundraising campaign originally had a goal of $50,000. However, continued support from fans reportedly pushed the total past $70,000 within two days.

As of August 20, the campaign had raised more than $84,000, or approximately 117 million won, leading organizers to increase the original fundraising goal.

The moment has since gained additional attention as an example of how a small interaction involving Jimin encouraged fans to turn their support into charitable donations.
