Ji Sung has shared his final thoughts after JTBC’s The Apartment Job officially came to an end.
The drama aired its final episode on August 16, wrapping up its 12-episode run with Ji Sung playing Park Hae Kang, a former boss of the Oasis organization who becomes involved in an apartment residents’ association election.
Although Hae Kang initially enters the race with his own goal in mind, he gradually becomes involved in solving problems inside the apartment alongside the residents.
Following the finale, Ji Sung looked back on the experience of playing a character with a noticeably different tone from some of his previous roles.
He said, “The Apartment Job has finally come to an end. Since it was a project with a slightly different tone from my previous work, there were many things I had to pay attention to, and I worked hard to show another side of myself.”
Ji Sung also thanked the cast and production team for their work throughout filming.
He shared, “All of the staff and actors worked very hard to prepare, and we filmed without regrets. I hope Apartment will remain in viewers’ memories for a long time as a good and enjoyable drama.”
The actor then expressed his gratitude directly to viewers who followed the series until the end.
Ji Sung said, “Thank you for giving us so much love and attention and for watching our drama. I’ll greet you again through another project with an even better side of myself. Thank you.”
The Apartment Job premiered on July 11 and concluded after 12 episodes, bringing Park Hae Kang’s journey with the residents to a close.
With the drama now finished, Ji Sung hopes viewers will remember The Apartment Job as a fun and satisfying series while he prepares to return with another project in the future.
