BTS’s Jimin is drawing strong attention after his performance at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, with U.S. media highlighting the loud fan response and his vocals on stage.
Local newspaper The Worcester Telegram & Gazette, part of the USA TODAY Network, noted Jimin’s strong popularity during the concert and wrote, “With his long flowing blond hair and delicate features, Jimin clearly drew some of the biggest cheers among the BTS members.”
The Boston Globe also highlighted the audience reaction during BTS’s 2018 song Fake Love, writing that fans responded with loud cheers to Jimin’s clear and soft vocals during the chorus.
Jimin’s appearance also became a topic online. During the second night at Gillette Stadium, he appeared with a braided hairstyle that quickly gained attention on social media.
Pop culture account Pop Core shared a concert image of Jimin shown on the stadium screen and described him as looking “as if heaven sent down its most sacred angel,” while noting that his new hairstyle was going viral.
Following the concerts, several Jimin-related phrases also appeared among trending topics on X, including “JIMERICA LOVES JIMIN,” “JIMIN SHINES IN BOSTON,” and “STAGE GENIUS JIMIN.”
The term “Jimerica,” which combines Jimin’s name with America, has also been used by fans to describe his strong popularity in the United States.
