The cast of KBS2’s The Husband has shared their final thoughts as the drama prepares to air its 12th and final episode.

Namgoong Min, who played Kang Tae Joo, reflected on the emotional challenges of portraying a man whose life changes completely after his wife is kidnapped.

He said, “Kang Tae Joo may look cold and rational on the outside, but he carries many different emotions and wounds inside. I tried not to miss even the smallest emotion.”

Namgoong Min also thanked the production team and his fellow actors for working together through difficult weather conditions.

He shared, “I’m grateful to the director, writer, staff members, and actors who always worked hard for the best result despite the heat and cold. I think we were able to create a good project because I was surrounded by such wonderful people.”

The actor also expressed his appreciation to viewers, saying, “I received a lot of strength until the very end from viewers who understood and supported Kang Tae Joo’s choices and emotions. I’ll continue to greet you through different projects with better and more sincere acting.”

Kim Dae Myung, who took on the role of Noh Man Hee, also thanked viewers after spending more than a year with the project from filming to broadcast.

He said, “I was truly happy to spend more than a year working on such a good project. Thank you for loving The Husband. I’ll return soon with another good project. See you again soon.”

Lee Seol, who played Go Se Yoon, thanked viewers for supporting her character through the difficult situations shown in the drama.

She shared, “Thanks to everyone who loved The Husband, the beginning of this summer felt much warmer and happier. Thank you sincerely to everyone who supported Se Yoon and stayed with Tae Joo and Se Yoon’s relationship until the end.”

Lee Sang Hee also looked back fondly on playing Kim Kyung Ae, saying, “I’m very thankful that I was able to meet viewers through The Husband. Looking back, the director, writer, staff, and actors all worked incredibly hard.”

She added a personal farewell to her character, “Kim Kyung Ae, I really enjoyed the time I spent meeting you. Thank you.”

According to Nielsen Korea, The Husband reached its highest nationwide household rating of 7.5% during its run.

The final episode of The Husband airs on August 9 at 9:20 PM KST.
