MBC’s A Bona Fide Killer, starring Gong Hyo Jin and Jung Joon Won, has reached another ratings milestone with its fourth episode.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 4 of A Bona Fide Killer, which aired on August 8, recorded a nationwide household rating of 9.4%, setting a new personal best for the drama.
The episode also earned 8.9% in the Seoul metropolitan area, while one tense scene climbed to a peak rating of 10.9%.
In addition, the drama recorded a 3.3% rating among viewers aged 20 to 54, ranking No. 1 among all programs broadcast that day in the key demographic.
Without revealing major spoilers, episode 4 followed Yoo Bo Na, played by Gong Hyo Jin, and her team as they became involved in another difficult case. At the same time, the drama continued showing Bo Na’s struggle to balance her dangerous work with her everyday responsibilities as a mother.
One scene highlighted her beliefs as she said, “I hope they remember that when people take their crimes lightly and think even legal punishment means nothing, the harshest consequences can come when they feel the safest.”
The episode also provided new clues about the mysterious past connecting Yoo Bo Na and her husband Kwon Tae Sung, played by Jung Joon Won.
Toward the end, Bo Na discovered something suspicious hidden inside a gift, while Tae Sung received a mysterious message saying, “You kept your promise. Good.” The developments hinted that both characters may be connected to secrets that have yet to be fully revealed.
With its nationwide rating rising to 9.4% and its highest moment reaching 10.9%, A Bona Fide Killer continues to build momentum as viewers follow its mix of suspense, action, and family drama.
