Actor Jung Hae In drew attention after sharing that he once covered the cost of a large cast and staff dinner during filming.
On the August 7 episode of KBS 2TV’s Problem Child in House, Jung Hae In and Ha Young appeared as guests to talk about their Netflix series Our Sticky Love.
During the conversation, the hosts brought up a story about Jung Hae In generously paying for a team dinner.
Jung Hae In explained, “When we were filming near Yeongdeok, I paid for a dinner with Yeongdeok snow crab. The entire production team and the actors were there. Even people who were not filming that day came down from Seoul.”
Song Eun Yi estimated that once managers and other team members were included, the total bill may have reached around 20 million to 30 million won.
Jung Hae In did not reveal the exact amount but admitted, “It did cost a lot.”
Song Eun Yi, who previously worked under the same agency as Jung Hae In, also shared another story about his generosity. She revealed that the actor had once given padded jackets to all employees at his agency.
Ha Young added that Jung Hae In also prepared a gift for the This Messy Love team.
She said, “He gave everyone on the team matching T-shirts as gifts.”
The conversation then turned to Jung Hae In’s family. When asked about the biggest gift he had given his parents, the actor simply answered, “A car.”
Jung Hae In’s stories drew warm reactions from the cast as they highlighted the actor’s habit of showing appreciation to the people around him.
