Jung Hae In shared a surprising behind-the-scenes story about his memorable kiss scene with Son Ye Jin in the 2018 drama Something in the Rain.
On the August 7 episode of KBS2’s Problem Child in House, Jung Hae In appeared as a guest alongside Ha Young while promoting the Netflix series This Messy Love.
During the conversation, Hong Jin Kyung brought up a scene from Something in the Rain that had drawn attention online. In the scene, Jung Hae In and Son Ye Jin’s characters drink beer together before sharing a kiss.
Hong Jin Kyung asked whether Jung Hae In had actually been drinking while filming the scene.
Jung Hae In confirmed that he had.
He said, “I actually drank alcohol while filming.”
The actor explained that he had a few drinks before the cameras started rolling so the scene would feel more natural.
He continued, “I had a few glasses and got slightly tipsy. Then I told the director, ‘I’m ready to go,’ and we filmed the scene.”
