BLACKPINK’s Jennie shared a heartfelt message as the group celebrated its 10th debut anniversary on August 8.
Jennie posted a Polaroid photo featuring the BLACKPINK members together and reflected on the past decade with fans.
She wrote, “There have been so many moments over the years, and as I went through each one, I realized more deeply how much strength I received from the people who always waited for me, believed in me, and supported me.”
Jennie said that although she has expressed her gratitude many times before, reaching the 10-year milestone made those words feel even more meaningful.
She continued, “Thanks to all of you, I was able to achieve so many dreams. I was able to see a wider world, stand on stages I had only imagined, and meet many wonderful people.”
The singer also opened up about how her journey with BLINK helped her grow personally.
Jennie said, “More than anything, while living as ‘Jennie’ together with BLINK, I think I was able to understand myself better and learn to love myself more.”
She thanked fans for staying with her throughout the past decade, adding, “Thank you sincerely for loving me, believing in me, and walking together with me for 10 years.”
Jennie also expressed her appreciation for fellow BLACKPINK members Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa.
She wrote, “I also want to say thank you to our members who have been with me throughout this entire journey. Because we always supported each other and ran toward the same dream together, I think we were able to become who we are today.”
She added that being together allowed the members to laugh more and come further than they could have imagined.
Looking toward the future, Jennie promised to continue challenging herself and creating meaningful memories with fans.
She concluded, “Just as I have until now, I will keep trying new things, keep growing, and become a Jennie who can continue giving you good music and good memories. Thank you always, and I love you.”
Jennie’s message comes as BLACKPINK marks 10 years since debut. Anniversary plans had recently drawn discussion among some fans after details were announced close to the anniversary date. YG Entertainment later confirmed that all four BLACKPINK members would attend the group’s scheduled meet-and-greet event.
