BTS ranked No. 1 in the August 2026 boy group brand reputation rankings, while ATEEZ and CORTIS followed in second and third place.

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, the rankings were based on 49,563,643 pieces of boy group-related data collected from July 8 to August 8. The total amount of data decreased by 7.94% compared with 53,836,972 pieces recorded the previous month.

BTS topped the list with a brand reputation index of 10,830,235, marking a 26.13% increase from their July score of 8,586,669.

The group’s August score included a participation index of 184,602, a media index of 1,208,886, a communication index of 3,572,900, and a community index of 5,863,848.

ATEEZ climbed to second place with an index of 2,678,598, showing a strong 104.27% increase compared with the previous month.

CORTIS ranked third with 2,512,983 points, although its score decreased by 39.80% from July.

SEVENTEEN came in fourth with a brand reputation index of 2,129,485, down 28.63%, while 2PM completed the top five with 2,052,934 points after recording a significant 167.28% increase.

The institute said BTS scored highly for terms related to “captivate,” “perform,” and “collaborate” in its link analysis. Keywords including “ARIRANG,” “ARMY,” and “The City New York” also appeared prominently in the analysis.

BTS additionally recorded a positive-to-negative sentiment ratio of 93.61%.

The top 30 for August were BTS, ATEEZ, CORTIS, SEVENTEEN, 2PM, BIGBANG, Stray Kids, EXO, TWS, ENHYPEN, SHINee, NCT, INFINITE, BOYNEXTDOOR, TVXQ, Super Junior, BTOB, Wanna One, MONSTA X, B1A4, ZEROBASEONE, VIXX, RIIZE, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, IDID, Highlight, XLOV, Block B, and KickFlip.
