MBC’s Bona Fide Killer reached a new ratings high with its latest episode, with Gong Hyo Jin’s action sequence becoming the most-watched moment of the broadcast.

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 3 of the Friday-Saturday drama recorded an average nationwide and metropolitan household rating of 8.3%, marking the drama’s highest rating so far and placing it No. 1 among Friday-Saturday dramas.

The episode’s peak rating climbed to 11% during a scene in which Yoo Bo Na, played by Gong Hyo Jin, wakes up and takes control of a dangerous situation.

Before jumping into action, she casually says, “Shall I go for it for the first time in a while?” The sequence then highlights her character’s unexpected combat skills and became the episode’s highest-rated moment.

The episode also followed the sales team as they became involved in an operation connected to a criminal group during a company workshop. Rather than relying on one character, the story highlighted the team’s coordinated efforts before Yoo Bo Na stepped in during the final part of the confrontation.

Another memorable moment came when Yoo Bo Na jokingly said, “I’m pretty good at taking people down,” before falling asleep, setting up the contrast with her later action scene.

The drama also continued to reveal more about Yoo Bo Na’s past and her relationship with the people around her while keeping its mix of action, comedy, and mystery.

Despite recent discussion surrounding cast member Jung Joon Won’s variety show appearance, Bona Fide Killer continued to gain viewers, with its latest episode setting a new personal ratings record.

Based on the popular Kakao webtoon of the same name, Bona Fide Killer will continue with episode 4 on August 8.
