Rosé’s agency has responded to online speculation that she may not attend BLACKPINK’s upcoming 10th anniversary event.

On August 7, THE BLACK LABEL released an official statement titled Notice regarding artist Rosé’s 10th debut anniversary schedule.

The agency stated, “Unconfirmed speculation and inaccurate information regarding Rosé’s personal schedule and participation in the debut anniversary event have recently been spreading online. We would therefore like to clarify our position.”

It explained that Rosé had prioritized the anniversary schedule well in advance so she could spend the meaningful occasion with fans.

THE BLACK LABEL said, “The artist has treated this schedule as a priority for a long time and secured and confirmed the necessary time in advance to share this special moment with fans.”

The agency continued, “We have also remained in close discussion and made every effort to ensure that the artist can participate in this important occasion.”

It then asked people to avoid criticism based on information that has not been confirmed.

The statement added, “We ask that people refrain from making indiscriminate criticism based on one-sided speculation that has not been verified.”

Rumors about Rosé’s possible absence began after she was reportedly seen in Los Angeles shortly before BLACKPINK’s anniversary event in Seoul. However, her agency’s statement indicated that she had already reserved time for the celebration.

BLACKPINK debuted on August 8, 2016, and will mark its 10th anniversary this year.

On August 6, the group announced a special anniversary event through Weverse. The gathering is scheduled to take place somewhere in Seoul on August 8, with the exact time and location to be provided privately to selected attendees.

Only 40 fans will be invited, and the initial notice stated that some members would attend depending on their individual schedules. The limited attendance and uncertainty surrounding the lineup led to disappointment and speculation among fans.

THE BLACK LABEL’s latest statement appears to address those concerns by emphasizing that Rosé had prepared for the anniversary schedule well in advance.
