Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon drew laughter after sharing a humorous reaction to a photo taken by an entertainment reporter.
On August 6, Hyoyeon uploaded the event photo to her social media account and jokingly wrote, “I’m buying information about this reporter’s home address.”
The comment was clearly made in a playful tone after she noticed an unexpected detail in the picture.
Hyoyeon attended a pop-up store opening held by a beverage brand and a racing team at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido. She appeared at the event in a sleek all-black outfit with her hair neatly tied back.
In the photo she shared, Hyoyeon covered one eye with a whisky glass while smiling at the camera. However, the glass reflected and distorted part of her eye, creating an unintentionally funny result.
Rather than criticizing the photographer, Hyoyeon turned the moment into a joke and shared the image herself, entertaining fans with her casual response.
Meanwhile, Hyoyeon is scheduled to debut in the new Girls’ Generation unit HyoRiSoo with Yuri and Sooyoung on August 31. The unit is expected to present a playful rivalry with the group’s earlier subunit TaeTiSeo.
