Kim Go Eun expressed her gratitude after receiving many congratulatory gifts following her grand prize win at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards.
On August 3, the actress shared several photos on her Instagram Story without a written caption, using emojis to show her feelings.
The photos showed flower bouquets sent by people celebrating her major award. One flower basket came from the CEO of TVING, the platform behind the upcoming third season of Yumi’s Cells, which stars Kim Go Eun.
The gift included a message congratulating her on winning the grand prize. Kim Go Eun responded by adding a teary-eyed emoji, suggesting that she was touched by the gesture.
Kim Go Eun received the grand prize during the awards ceremony held at Paradise City in Incheon on July 31.
During her acceptance speech, she said, “I felt very proud when I saw that two projects I participated in were nominated for Best Picture. I will consider this an award recognizing how hard I worked on ‘You and Everything Else,’ ‘The Price of Confession,’ and ‘Yumi’s Cells.’”
She also spoke about her attitude toward acting, saying, “I have never taken being part of a project for granted. I try to approach every production with responsibility and a sincere heart.”
Kim Go Eun added, “I will continue working hard so people can discover new sides of me and remain curious about me as an actress. Please continue to look for me and give me more opportunities.”
