ENA’s Monday-Tuesday drama Dream to You, starring Hyeri and Hwang In Youp, recorded its lowest viewership rating so far with episode 7.
According to Nielsen Korea, the August 3 broadcast earned a nationwide household rating of 2.0%. This was 0.3 percentage points lower than the previous episode’s 2.3% and marked a new personal low for the drama.
The episode showed Joo Yi Jae, played by Hyeri, and Woo Soo Bin, played by Hwang In Youp, finally recognizing that their feelings for each other had remained unchanged for 15 years.
After learning that Woo Soo Bin had made a difficult decision to protect her dream of becoming a film director, Joo Yi Jae told him, “I will not blame you anymore. Maybe the truly meaningful part was your decision to stop.”
Woo Soo Bin responded, “Your feelings are too strong for me to pretend I do not see them. So do not stop.”
The two then confirmed their feelings with a kiss before Joo Yi Jae moved forward with the first filming of her project.
The episode also briefly followed other characters making difficult choices involving their careers and relationships. However, despite the romantic development between the lead characters, Dream to You continued its ratings decline and fell to a new low of 2.0%.
