Actor Park Bo Gum donated 10 million won to support an ALS care hospital in celebration of his birthday.

On August 1, singer Sean shared the news through social media and revealed that Park Bo Gum made the donation on June 16.

Sean wrote, “Bo Gum donated 10 million won to the ALS care hospital on his birthday, June 16. I have already lost count of how many times he has helped.”

He also praised Park Bo Gum for continuing to support people living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as ALS.

Park Bo Gum previously participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge after being nominated by Sean in 2018, 2023, and 2025. Sean said the actor has continued to show interest and support beyond those public campaigns.

He added, “Because of Bo Gum, his fans from Bogum Welfare Department have also continued donating for several years, beginning with fundraising for the construction of the ALS care hospital. Thank you to Bogum Welfare Department.”

Sean described the continued support from Park Bo Gum and his fans as a clear example of positive influence.

He wrote, “This is what positive influence truly means.”

Sean also recalled Park Bo Gum’s recent appearance on Together with Sean, where the actor said he wanted to become a good performer whom other actors would want to work with.

Sean shared, “Watching Bo Gum say that made me realize once again that he is someone who genuinely dreams of becoming a good person.”

He ended his message by thanking Park Bo Gum for giving hope to ALS patients.

Sean said, “Thank you again for caring about people living with ALS and for giving them hope. I hope every step you take as actor Park Bo Gum and as the person Park Bo Gum brings hope, courage, love, and happiness to many people.”
