Lee Dong Wook showed his support for Kim Go Eun after she received the grand prize at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards.
On August 1, the actor shared several behind-the-scenes photos from the ceremony, which was held on July 31 at Paradise City in Incheon.
Lee Dong Wook attended the event as a presenter for Best Drama alongside Kim Hye Joon. His photos showed him waiting inside a car, reviewing the script with his fellow presenter, and receiving final hairstyling from staff before appearing on stage.
One photo especially gained attention because it showed Lee Dong Wook watching Kim Go Eun deliver her grand prize acceptance speech from backstage.
He added the caption “Proud” over the photo of himself watching the screen, warmly celebrating his former co-star’s achievement.
Lee Dong Wook and Kim Go Eun first worked together in the popular drama Goblin around 10 years ago. His supportive reaction showed that the cast members have maintained a close friendship long after the series ended.
Meanwhile, Lee Dong Wook recently returned in the Disney+ original series A Shop for Killers Season 2.
